Christopher Paul Jones had been helping people overcome phobias for many years and already had a successful Harley Street Clinic when he took part in the BBC’s Skies over Britain. He then realised that being in the media spotlight could help him expand and help more people.

I first worked with Panpathic after the success of Skies over Britain, way back in 2016 to 2018. I was very happy at the time with all the coverage they secured for me. Over and above positioning me as an expert through articles across a variety of publications both on- and off-line and radio they placed some great review treatments, which is, to me, the best way to showcase my services. Positioning in publications such as GQ was exactly what I had been looking for.

After almost two years working happily together, I needed to rearrange my budgets to save some money and so I took a break from PR. When I launched my new book, though, I knew PR was the way to go. I had tried other agencies in the interim, many of which offered great things. While some were not too bad, others took my money and did not achieve any coverage at all! And definitely none were as consistent as Panpathic Communications. Plus, I knew that in the unlikely event they did not secure any coverage, I would not have to pay (not something that the other agencies offered).

As expected, the book launch was very successful. PR-wise, Panpathic generated well over a dozen pieces of coverage, including a national online newspaper, national glossy magazines, professional publications and even radio.

After that, it was a no-brainer to continue to work with Panpathic to get more exposure for my book and my seven-step method for curing phobias. Once again, the multi-pronged attack worked really well. Panpathic works differently to most other agencies, in that they place advice-based articles that I have written, meaning my experience and my knowledge in my field is showcased and readers can see that I really do have the expertise to free them from their phobias. Over and above that, because it really works for my brand, they pitch me out for interviews with publications, podcasts and radio, plus TV.  They also put me forward to do review treatments.

In terms of both quantity and quality, this strategy has paid off very well and I have been in top end publications including Glamour, Hello, Sorted, FQ, Woman & Home, Woman’s Weekly, Sunday Mirror, Sunday Express, Independent and Esquire. I’ve also been featured in the Irish and Scottish Nationals Sunday Post, Irish Independent and Star Chic magazine. Plus, I have recorded several podcasts, as well as being interviewed for both UK Health Radio and Classic Hits Radio.

Indeed, in the first three months of working with Panpathic, they secured over 20 pieces of coverage, with a reach of 13 million people!

I was excited to also be interviewed for TV on CNBC. Although I know TV is not always easy to secure, it is something I really want to do more of. So, when I heard that Vanessa Feltz was looking for guests on her Channel 5 show, Panpathic pitched me and secured an interview. I was very excited but also nervous. My account manager Sophie talked me through it and assured me I would be fine. Indeed, it went very well, and they have said they would like me to go back at some point. Panpathic is also working hard to get more TV slots secured, in addition to the other work they are doing. Even in this day and age, TV has great kudos and is a massive way of growing your brand.

There’s something about securing editorial coverage in papers and magazines, and on the radio and TV, that helps position you so people can see you at a different level than when you spend your promotional budgets on advertising. People actually get to know you like this, they appreciate your expertise and understand your philosophies, rather than just seeing it as a way to make a sale. It also allows me to reach a much wider audience.

As mentioned before, Panpathic has also set up reviews of interventions and these are the most impactful coverage for me, as there is proof in the reviews that my methods work. This gives instant positioning, which I experienced most notably from the interest generated by the review in Harper’s Bazaar on a flying phobia, another review in Glamour, and a public speaking phobia treatment review on her.ie. That’s when I noticed the calls coming in, in the days and weeks after publication.

I would – and, in fact do – wholeheartedly recommend Panpathic.  They are absolutely the best I have come across in terms of the amount and value of coverage – not to mention the cost! In fact, sometimes I have such a lot of coverage being sent to me that I feel as though I can’t share all of it on my social media because it might look like overkill!

My assistant told me not to use PR and she and I have both experienced spending thousands of pounds just to get one tiny quote. Also, everyone has always told me not to expect PR to work quickly but I have seen it work fast with Panpathic. I also recommend them for the guarantee that if they don’t secure coverage in a given month, you do not pay for that month. That gives real peace of mind.

In short, Panpathic offers great value and great results.
